Apartment for vacation in Rome - Roman Holiday Colosseum Domus Aurea - At the foot of the Colosseum and in the heart of the historical centre of Rome, there is a quiet appartment waiting to fulfill your desire for a holiday, for rest and for fun. The appartment, elegantly furnished, is made up of two large bedrooms, a livingroom and an American kitchen that can welcome from 2 to 7 people. Its position is enviable: 200 metres from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and from the beautiful Colle Oppio park; and from here you can easily reach the other areas of the historical centre on foot or, as an alternative, by bus and tram that conveniently stop in front of our building, or if you prefer, by Metro (line A&B) at the nearby stops of Manzoni or Colosseo. You can easily get here from the central train station (5 minutes by taxi) and from the airport (45 minutes). All of the above are important ingredients that make for unforgettable Roman Holiday...
The Apartment

The Holiday Home Roman Holiday Colosseum Domus Aurea is in via Labicana 80, in a building dating from the early 1900’s, in the ancient and characteristic Rione Monti. The apartment, quiet and comfortable , is on the 4th floor and is made up of two double bedrooms and a living room with two double sofas-bed, an American kitchen and a full bath. Satellite TV, air conditioning and bed and bath linen are provided free-of-charge.

From the entranceway a corrridor leads first to the ample living room and then to the two bedrooms. The bathroom has recently been redone and has a bathtub with shower, hot water supplied by a gas water heater. The large and welcoming kitchen can host romantic dinners for two or banquets for friends or family. Here too, plenty of hot water is guaranteed thanks to the electric water heater. |

Services
Use of the kitchen, radio and T.V. color with satellite and an air conditioning system. You will receive the essential for your breakfast daily, and weekly changes of bed and bath linens.
Upon your arrival you will receive a map of the city and useful information on the city sights, shops and places to eat in the area. The apartment has a well supplied bookshelf at your disposition containing tourist and archeological guide books in various languages and our staff is always on hand to help and suggest touristic itineraries.
Optional services
Daily maid service and additional linen changes are available on request and taxi service from (to) the airport directly to the apartment.

How to reach us
- By taxi it takes about 45 min. Please note that you can book it in advance (price: from 45 euro); - By public transport: from the airport you can take the Metro train to the central train station Roma Termini and from there take the (direction Anagnina) and get off at “Manzoni”. From there you can take the 13 or 30b to Via Labicana. In easy reach Between the beautiful park of the Oppion Hill and the Palatine, you will be immersed in the most suggestive part of Rome: the Colisseum, the Imperial Forums, the Basilica of St. John Lateran and the splendid Domus Aurea (the Golden House). Slightly farther is the Ancient Appian Way, the Circus Maximus, and the Baths of Caracalla, but in only a few minutes you can also reach the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps , St. Peter’s basilica, Castel S. Angelo and….all those characteristic corners of ancient Rome that will make your stay in the eternal city something you will never forget.

As can be seen from the following price list, our tariffs are extremely interesting…. The prices, in Euro, are per night (inclusive of services such as housekeeping, electricity,gas, water and heating). The high season is from march to november, whilst the low is from december to february.
